We partnered with the Rec. Council tonight to prep for the Easter Egg Hunt. These folks can pack some eggs! The Easter Egg Hunt is on April 14th at 2pm. The location is Keith McKenzie Park in West Conshy. Hope to see you there!

Last week, we learned that Relevant Church of Allentown has a reminder to pray for us in their entryway. This week Core Creek Community Church held a prayer service where they prayed for our church. Also this week the worship director at Core Creek, Josh Garms, gifted BlueStone a key board (now we just need to find someone to play it). We are so blessed to be surrounded by this support.

Let's face it. Attending a church you've never visited can feel pretty weird. What's the service like? What are the people like? Do I have to give money? Can I bring my coffee in? If my kids make noise, are they going to judge me? And the list goes on. Well, here's what to expect at BlueStone. We pray in Jesus name. We sing songs about God's love for us. We study a translation of the Bible that is easy to understand. And for those who want to stick around, we hang out, have some snacks/coffee, and just talk about life. Coffee is welcome, possibly even a must (bring dinner, if you want). Yes, even in the sanctuary. Kiddos are a blast, even when they make noise. And if you feel led to give financially, there's a box in the back (we don't pass a plate). BlueStone is a no pressure atmosphere dedicated to knowing God better, experiencing His kindness, and building each other up. We meet at 6pm on Sundays. We hope to see you soon. 🙂

We’re grateful for our team of musicians who lead us in singing on Sunday nights. They always do such a great job.

Just a reminder: Our service this evening is at 5pm, so everyone will have time to make it back for the big game. We'll still have refreshments afterwards for anyone who wants to stick around. 🙂

In light of the Superbowl this weekend, we will be starting our Sunday service at 5pm instead of 6pm. We hope to see you there! 🙂

Just a quick “heads up.” Kid Zone, which normally meets on Sunday evenings at BlueStone Church, won’t be meeting this Sunday. It will resume on January 6th and is open to all children in our community. Thank you.

Humanity experiences spiritual, relational, emotional, financial, and physical brokenness every day, but Jesus delights to heal broken people. He finds us in the condition we were in, then offers to do something about it.

It’s storytime with Miss Andrea tonight at Kid Zone.

Commitment and faithfulness are traits the Lord makes visible in the lives of those who trust in Him. When we come to a place of genuine faith in Jesus Christ, a transformation takes place in our lives. Instead of running away from God, we embrace Him. Instead of ignoring Him, we strive to hear Him. Instead of disobeying Him, we find delight in obeying Him. That obedience becomes the most obvious mark of our genuine faith in Him.

God is giving us the opportunity to do a "rewrite" with our lives. Prior to coming to know Him, we were spiraling downward, bent on defiance toward Him, and idolizing our own ideas as if they were superior to His omniscience. We were lost, and we didn't really want to be found. We had an encouraging service last night as Pastor John shared from 1 Peter 3:8-12. At BlueStone Church, we strive to be faithful to the Lord and each other by singing of His grace, sharing from His Word(the Bible), and praying for His empowerment and direction. ~~~~~~ Colossians 3:16 "Let the message of Christ dwell among you richly as you teach and admonish one another with all wisdom through psalms, hymns, and songs from the Spirit, singing to God with gratitude in your hearts." 1 Timothy 4:13 "Devote yourself to the public reading of Scripture, to preaching and to teaching." Ephesians 6:18-20 "Pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord’s people. Pray also for me, that whenever I speak, words may be given me so that I will fearlessly make known the mystery of the gospel, for which I am an ambassador in chains. Pray that I may declare it fearlessly, as I should."
